G’day! Blissful sunshine arrived for the wedding of Alex and Adam at Wick Farm in Bath – I swear they bought it over with them from Australia, it’s them we need to thank for our summer heatwave. This wonderful wedding was pretty much all organised by Alex’s UK based parents and they did a fabulous job. Full credit to them both for taking on the planning of a wedding, it’s not a small task and the way Alex and Adam trusted them with it really speaks volumes about their close bond. I started my day at a cottage with the girls for their preparations and on arrival Alex was very calm. The morning focused mostly upon flowers – they had decided to create their own button holes and bouquets and a fine job they did too. It was all hands on deck and a bit of a race against the clock as boyfriends of bridesmaids were roped in to become ‘florists’ very quickly picking up the art of creating a hand tied bouquet but they got there in the end! After a lovely ceremony where both Alex and Adam looked amazing and so happy together, they were off in their Rolls Royce for a romantic drive around the countryside. The guests had a blast, and I got some great shots of them enjoying the sunshine and outdoor games followed by a delicious meal whilst I went for a wonder to meet the Wick Farm animals. Thanks very much to Alex and Adam for inviting me to be a part of their Aussie/British wedding, it was great fun to shoot and I wish you both a lovely, long and happy marriage together full of sunshine 🙂
Below are a few of my favourites from the day but family and friends of Alex and Adam are invited to view the full gallery here.
