Laura and Boris are a really lovely couple who met at University and currently live in London. They were keen on a green and leafy location for their Pre-Wedding Shoot so we chose Brandon Hill in Bristol. With views across the city, a large park area and a smaller wooded area it seemed the ideal location. I always worry about the weather a couple of days before a shoot but I didn’t need to with this one as it was a baking hot morning, and I mean seriously hot! So we headed for areas of shade and pretty dappled light underneath trees. Its clear Laura and Boris are very much in love, the special connection between them was lovely for me to witness and capture on camera. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding in Bristol later this summer.

I photographed Laura and Boris’ engagement portraits in Bristol.
