Cheryl contacted me to book me for Family Photography at The Pig Hotel near Bath as a surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary gift for her in laws.  They had hired one of the private dining rooms there for a celebratory meal so I met the family an hour before their guests arrived to do their photography session.  The grounds at The Pig are beautiful so we walked around the Hotel and found the pretty kitchen garden taking photographs along the way.  No families stay the same forever, they grow, change and morph into different groups over the years.  I think it’s so important to document different family dynamics along the way through life… especially if the family includes young children as they grow and change so quickly.  Relaxed and informal shots are what I do best, nothing too posed, formal or traditional.  I like to capture real expressions and relationships between people resulting in a selection of fresh contemporary images.  Below are some of my favourite images from their wonderful day of celebrations.
