This summer saw the beautiful wedding of Stephanie and Luke, a couple who are so very well matched they had already been together a long time before this inevitable marriage took place. They chose the venue of Priston Mill, near Bath, specifically the lovely large barn there. A choir assembled on the balcony above the main hall as guests filled the rows. Quite often I see Brides and Grooms shaking with nerves when the reach the end of the aisle. If these two were nervous, they hid it well. The connection was so strong between them, the support of each other so wonderful to see. It has to be my favourite part of my job creating Bath Wedding Photography to capture moments like that, what a privilege. Through the afternoon there was glorious sunshine, garden games, more songs from the choir and a really peaceful atmosphere in the garden. Guests enjoyed the usual high standard of food offered at Priston (as did I, thanks!) a quiz based on the happy couple and lively after dinner speeches. The band started up for the first dance and soon after that the dancefloor was packed, the shots were going down fast, closely followed by some very interesting dance moves indeed – particularly from Luke and his two best men! A photobooth and confectionary table made great additions to the evening party.
Such a joyful day. Thank you so much Stepahnie and Luke for inviting me to be part of it. May your married life together be as fun and varied as Luke’s dance moves after a round of shots!!
