Well, what another fabulous year its been. A fairly challenging one for me juggling motherhood with my business but I’ve managed well I think. Lots of great couples invited me to photograph their weddings, some of the prettiest weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing actually. I’m grateful not only to the couples who trusted me with their wedding photography but also the wedding guests that welcomed me, let me ‘in’ and enabled me to capture some great shots of them too. Lots of family shoots this year as well; new faces and some returning clients. I love to see lives progressing and families growing in numbers. The start of this year saw a huge change in photography equipment for me and new way of shooting so it’s been a learning curve again and I love the new equipment now. I can see the change in the quality of my work plus the aesthetic benefits the new lenses have bought and it’s what I set out to achieve. I’m not stopping there though and plans for 2016 include taking my work further in a Fine Art direction not only in my weddings and portrait work but in my drawings and prints too. A re-brand of my business is well overdue so maybe 2016 will be the year for that? A huge thank you to all my lovely clients from this year, I hope you enjoy your images and we can catch up again in the future. Have a wonderful 2016 everyone, here’s some highlights from this year (in no particular order):
