Do you remember when it rained and rained everyday for weeks on end through April and into May? Everyday was just so miserable and dreary. Then the clouds parted to reveal patches of blue sky and sunshine – it was Scarlett and Kurt’s wedding day! ( the good looking couple from this shoot in Bradford-on-Avon?) I started the day at Scarlett’s Mum’s beautiful house in the centre of Bath where Scarlett and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. Kurt and the boys enjoyed some champagne as the nerves built before heading off to Wick Farm. The ceremony was lovely and Scarlett and Kurt looked so very happy together. I had a lump in my throat the whole time especially when I recognised readings and music I had chosen for my own wedding two years ago. Strawberry Field Catering did an amazing job with the food and Glyn West (Scarlett’s stepfather) created the beautiful stationary you can see in the pictures below. After some excellent speeches, featuring some especially embarrassing photos of Kurt, I left them to dance the night away. I feel very privileged to be chosen to document their special day and I wish Scarlett and Kurt a long and happy marriage.
Below is my selection of favourites from the day.
I photographed Scarlett and Kurt’s Wick Farm wedding in Bath and offer modern and creative wedding photography in Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas. Please browse my blog or look at my wedding portfolio for more examples of my work to see if I’m the right wedding photographer for you.
Love the photographs, you have captured the day and I am especially in awe of the black & white shots
