Gemma and Kenny booked me to shoot their wedding at Priston Mill near Bath later this year so I met up with them recently at Clevedon Pier near Bristol for a coffee, chat about wedding plans and their Pre-Wedding Shoot. They took a huge leap of faith booking me as their Wedding Photographer whilst they were living in Canada so we only got the chance to meet recently but luckily enough we all got on well and felt they’d made the right decision! Clevedon Pier is a wonderful structure and so pretty with it’s white and blue colour scheme, it’s a great place for a shoot and I was able to find lots of interesting angles to push things a little creatively. Gemma and Kenny told me about how they first met all those years ago and their plans for the future. Everyone starts off a little nervous at a shoot like this but Gemma and Kenny soon relaxed and got in to the swing of things. I loosely position couples then leave them to have a chat and interact. For natural looking images it’s really important they feel able to move so I never set them in a stiff pose. Every couple interacts differently and I really like the varied results – some shoots are full of laughter and some show a quiet but obvious bond between a couple – either way it’s great because it reflects them both as people and their unique relationship.
I offer Creative and Modern Wedding and Engagement Photography as well as Family Portraits in Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. To see more of my work you can view my Wedding Portfolio, Portrait Portfolio or browse my Blog.
