Louise and Martin enjoyed a blissfully sunny wedding day in Tetbury, Gloucestershire at the Great Tythe Barn. I met Louise and the girls before the ceremony to photograph their preparations in one of the cottages opposite the barn. Nerves seemed to be under control quite well and things were running on time. After that I followed the men over to the barn where Martin was waiting nervously for his bride. Emotions started to run high and as Louise met Martin at the end of the aisle accompanied by her father the tears flowed – from nearly everyone! I’ve never photographed such an emotional wedding before and I have to say I got quiet choked at the sight of it myself. Tears of joy. Wonderful. Once the ceremony was over Louise and Martin were able to relax and bask in the sunshine mingling with their guests. A hog roast was followed by the speeches, with top marks going to Martin’s brother for his speech that rhymed from beginning to end and to Martin’s young son who was brave enough to stand at the front and say a few words, it was easy to see how proud Martin was of him. The drink started to flow as the evening celebrations commenced with dancing and much merriment. Thank you to Louise and Martin for trusting me to capture their special day, wishing you both a marriage filled with the sunshine and joyful tears of your wedding day.
