“ Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.” – Matt Hardy
I remember crouching down and waiting for this moment to happen, I could see Mr Ted was already in place and looking straight down the lens adding humour to the image. I had lined up the shot, pretended to look at my camera settings so the young boy didn’t think I was taking a photo of him, then it was just a matter of time until he looked up at all the adults chatting after the wedding ceremony of his parents. Surrounded by family that loved him but he somehow looked really lost and alone in that moment, a great contrast to the teddy bear’s expression.
Taken from the wedding of Michelle and Duncan at Woolley Grange Hotel.

I agree this is a great shot – its definitely worth waiting to shoot moments like these.
