August 2013 saw the beautiful wedding of Rae & Yaw at St George’s Church, Dunster and Crowcombe Court.  Two venues that were new to me at the time which was really exciting.  I remember it being a very hot day, the beautiful and huge church they got married in, Rae’s lovely grandma looking so proud of Rae, Yaw’s family full of larger than life characters nearly all of which were running late for the ceremony and holding up traffic in the middle of Dunster!  I remember having an awful cold that day but battling through anyway, Rae’s amazing Christian Louboutin bridal shoes and beautiful Tiffany & Co jewellery and the couple making a grand entrance in their fabulous wedding car down the long hedged driveway and up to the house with all their guests on the steps outside.  I remember taking their couple’s shots in a private side garden with a lovely pond at Crowcombe Court, Yaw’s aunties cackling away together throughout the day, the outdoor speeches which I thought was a nice touch and the best man’s fond words for the groom.  I remember all the group shots – oh the never ending list of group shots(!), the guests diving into the photobooth dressing up box during the meal, the excitement surrounding the casino table in the evening and the lovely sunset over Crowcombe.  What a great day it was!  I designed an album for Rae and Yaw aswell so they have a wonderful printed memento of the day to hand down through the generations.
