Families are like fudge – mostly sweet with a few nuts! That is a saying I once heard and it made me laugh.  Families are great aren’t they?  But who can honestly say they find the time to see their family members as much as they should do, as much as they want to.  Most of us only have a big get together at weddings or funerals which is a real shame but the family below is a great example to us all.  The Hartes/Davies family (plus a few close friends… and pets) welcomed back some family members who have recently relocated to Hong Kong but popped back to the UK for a quick visit this summer.  In true English style a garden party family reunion lasted through the afternoon and into in the evening, battling through the great British weather and its sunshine punctuated with rain showers.  Older relatives bought with them handfuls of beautiful black and white photographs from years gone by to reminisce over.  There was enough food to feed a small army (unwritten rule no. 1 of any family gathering – always over cater!) and the battle to do the cleaning up nearly ended in a fight – such was the number of volunteer helpers.
