Hey, Poppy!

Your mum and dad gave you a nice name didn’t they?  Bold, bright and vibrant but pretty and feminine at the same time.  I know our portrait shoot got off to a bad start with some tears and little cheeks that were getting redder and redder by the second but once you relaxed it was fine wasn’t it?  We snuggled you up on a nice soft blanket with cushions underneath and you fell fast asleep which gave me time to get some great shots.  I have to say your folds of chub are really quite beautiful.  At the moment when people call you ‘chubby’ they mean it as a compliment but make the most of that as it soon changes as you get older!  Your little mop of dark hair that formed swirly patterns on your head was so very cute too.  I’m glad you woke up towards the end of the session as I was able to photograph your big baby blue eyes.
