Having just had a baby myself, this shoot seems a good one to put on the blog now… little 6 week old Kit’s Newborn Photography in Wiltshire. I met Kit, his parents Alexandra and John and their dog Obo at their home to take some relaxed and natural family photographs during this special time for them. These shoots are always in the hands of the babies and we are definitely working to their time table rather than them working to ours but I have to say Kit was a star and was very content nearly all the way through the hour long shoot. Great news for me as I could work quickly without too much waiting around and as a result delivered a huge amount of images to Alexandra and John. I really can’t urge parents enough to organise a photoshoot in the first weeks of their baby’s life. I know from my own experience how precious these images become, how as a parent of a pre-schooler you spend a lot of time looking back at photos from the first year wondering how your child has changed so much in such a short space of time. I know my daughter’s first portraits are cherished by her Grandparents and will become precious to her too as she grows up. It’s certainly an investment worth making; a portrait package including a full gallery and a selection of edited images on a USB stick for you to print is £275 so please get in touch if you’d like to book.
It was great to meet you little Kit and welcome to the world! Here’s a few of my favourites from that day:
