Natasha and Gareth got married this summer at West Barn in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire followed by a marquee reception at Widbrook Barns and I was delighted to be invited to photograph their wedding.  Bradford-on-Avon is the town where I live and I’ve always loved the West Barn and the nearby Tythe Barn so to be asked to shoot a wedding there was a real treat.  Natasha and Gareth are such a lovely couple and after meeting them for the first time I knew it would be a fun, informal, relaxed wedding…. what I didn’t predict, but was pleasantly surprised by, was how much of a PARTY wedding it would be!  Their family and friends really made the day extra special; all let their hair down and really partied hard!  It’s great when guests are like that, I can get some wonderful shots.  Natasha looked very pretty in her 50s style dress, dramatic eyeliner and bright red lipstick which matched her red rose bouquet.  The ceremony was short but sweet and after some photographs in the amazing Tythe Barn we headed off to Widbrook Barns just down the road.  Guests were welcomed with drinks and some marvellous canapés and the party flowed from there really.  An almighty thunderstorm created a mud pit outside but a cosy atmosphere inside the marquee.  After some hilarious speeches and a very embarrassing episode for Gareth in which his brother introduced his teddy bear to the guests (!) Natasha was keen to kick off her heels and don her Nike trainers so she could really dance!  Everyone really went for it on the dancefloor and the evening shots from this wedding are some of my all time favourites.  Natasha and Gareth, many thanks for inviting me to be a part of your rocking wedding day!  I hope the party atmosphere and fun continues into your marriage and you enjoy many happy years together.
