Paul & Linda were married at a lovely venue called Guyers House in Corsham, Wiltshire… a venue I nearly booked for my own wedding actually. This was the first time I’d photographed a friend’s wedding (I first met Paul a few years ago as we were members of the same photography group) and I was honoured to be asked, if a little apprehensive about shooting the wedding of a) a friend and b) a fellow photographer. I need not have worried though and felt Paul and Linda trusted me completely. The overriding memory I have of this special day is how connected the two of them were, clearly so in love and surrounded by just close family and friends which really created an intimate and special atmosphere for their day. The ceremony included some lovely readings by young family members who had practised and practised until they delivered word perfect performances. The speeches included some rather revealing stories about Paul from his best man and some very thoughtful words about Linda from her son which bought a tear to her eye. Paul & Linda thank you so much for trusting me to capture your special day, wishing you both the most happiest of marriages which I feel certain you will have.
