Leanne and Mark chose me as their wedding photographer for their wedding at St Mary’s Church, Shewton in Wiltshire and marquee reception on a local farm and I’m so glad they did.  I already knew quite a few guests at this wedding having shot Clover and Jack’s wedding in 2014 who then recommended me to their friends Mark and Leanne.  It was great to catch up with everyone again and to be a part of Mark and Leanne’s special day – they are such a lovely couple and as you’ll see from the photos below their wedding was stunning.  I met up with the girls that morning to photograph the bridal preparations.  Leanne is very pretty anyway but dressed up as a bride she looked totally amazing and I’m sure she blew everyone away that day, especially Mark.  The bridesmaids also looked lovely in their beautiful dresses and were really pleased with their caricature gifts that Leanne and Mark had commissioned for them.  I headed down the road to the Church before the girls so I could capture the guests arriving and Mark looking nervous (he hid it well though).  Revd Eleanor Rance lead a wonderful ceremony – very warm and welcoming – which I know Leanne and Mark were especially pleased with as she really took their wishes into consideration.  After a few group shots outside the church guests headed to the second venue, Middle Farm, just a short drive away.  They were welcomed with Pimms, fizz and the most wonderful sunshine which surprised everyone as it wasn’t forecast but lasted all day!  I took Leanne and Mark for a short walk around the farm to capture some shots of the two of them, we met the farm’s cows and had a look around the barns before heading back to the marquee for the wedding breakfast to be served.  The speeches are always a highlight of a wedding for me and these didn’t disappoint.  Plenty of embarrassing stories emerged including Leanne’s secret diary from her childhood and Mark’s teddy bears even made an appearance!  Guests had a wonderful time and I love capturing people really enjoying themselves, it lights up the images.  I stayed to capture the first dance before leaving Leanne and Mark to dance the night away with their friends and families.  A huge thank you to Leanne and Mark for trusting me to take their wedding photos, it was such an honour and I really enjoyed working with you both.  Wishing you every happiness in your marriage together and plenty of sunshine filled days just like your wedding day!
